I have always loved the barter system. Sometimes people just don't have the spare cash to buy my artwork, so I am always open to a good trade! Here's a list of my current wants (they're suggestions--if you have anything that deviates from specifics, let me know; it may be what I want!). Contact me.
Right now, my bartering is limited because I'm in grad school and I need money more than I need more stuff. However, let me know what you have and we can talk.
Craft Supplies
Fur and leather (any legal animal--animals such as wolves must come with all appropriate paperwork!) Old fur coats are acceptable and in many cases preferred--recycling is the best! Leather pants and coats are fine, too.
Beads - no plastic! Glass, bone, etc. are good. Any size, shape, colour. I'm a definite bead whore! Old jewelry is fine, too.
Beading thread - I especially need waxed linen cord, and size A beading thread (the really small stuff for seed beads), and artificial sinew in any color.
Claws, teeth and bones - again, please keep it legal. Skulls, ribs, shoulderblades and long leg bones are especially appreciated, but any will work. I'm not too picky.
Feathers - no raptor or songbird (ravens count as songbirds, BTW.) Whole wings and tails are especially delightful.
Jewelry findings - pendants, crimp beads, earring hooks/posts, jump rings, clasps, etc.
Dried gourds
ANTLERS! Deer, elk, etc.--all are needed!
Incomplete or unwanted tarot decks
Taxidermy mounts, any condition, all animals except fish, invertebrates
Knife blades - must have a tang at least 2" long. If you're bartering a whole mass market knife, make sure the handle can be easily removed, generally through unscrewing the pommels and sliding the handle off. Sword blades are also acceptable.
Books
Books on animals, especially animal behavior
Any and all occult/pagan/magical texts.
