Full Skin Decorated Wolf Totem Dance Costume

Materials: Wolf skin, leather, vintage glass beads

Description: Sometimes during the tanning process, hides will be damaged. When this poor guy came to me, he had all of his feet and claws, but his face was smushed beyond all belief, and he had a bunch of "slipped" spots on his face and back where some or all of the fur had fallen out. I used multiple soakings and reshapings to fix his face as much as I could, but what to do about all the bare spots? Decorate them, of course! I took some leather fringe from an old coat and stitched it on, then added some more fringe I made from black leather from a coat. Then I added vintage glass beads in tan and red to the fringe, as well as the face. He looks TONS better! The skin has leather straps to tie on at the chin shoulders, arms and legs of the dancer. He measures 75" from tip of nose to tip of tail and will fit most adults.
