Pouches were among the very first pieces I made back in the 1990s, and they're still among my favorites today. From little necklace pouches to wear with small items inside, to larger, more elaborate shoulder and belt bags, I create them out of leather and fur, often secondhand from coats and other salvaged attire. In addition, I use remnants from the fur coat industry, to include faces, tails and legs, which would otherwise be discarded.
Most of these are unlined, other than a few made from old, weak fur which have fabric glued into them to help keep the hide from tearing, and all are sewn by hand. Don't see what you like? Ask me about custom work!
Necklace pouches are meant to be worn around the neck, and they range in size quite a bit. The drawstring and foldover pouches are generally larger, though again sizes vary greatly.
